ABC's Lindsey Annison has been nominated in the New Statesman Upstart Awards 2005, in the "Social Enterprise Champion (Individual)" category.
This award is to recognise the individual, organisation, group or
business which has done most to promote social enterprise in the UK.
The Upstarts Awards were launched in 2001 to promote the idea of social enterprises and entrepreneurs. The awards aim to encourage, recognise and reward individuals and
enterprises that demonstrate extraordinary vision, good business
practice and social responsibility. They also showcase working models of social enterprises that present innovative and sustainable solutions to social problems.
